 I love Final Fantasy 1. Anyone who's talked to me over the past couple of days can attest to this; I feel like I could go on and on about the music, the world, the gameplay, all of it. It's not like it has a particularly noteworthy story, nothing more than 4 heroes of legend are destined to bring light back to the world, helping kidnapped princesses and slumbering kings along the way. However, it doesn't need anything like that because it's just a really fun game. Sure, compared to other JRPGs that have released since, it's bare-bones and simple. But there's a certain level of charm that comes from that simplicity, and there's still a decent level of strategy when it comes to dealing with boss fights and managing the magic slot system. Beating Chaos took around 40-50 minutes, and seeing him crumble to dust was oh so satisfying.  AND THE SOUNDTRACK DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE SOUNDTRACK IT'S SO GOOD PLEASE LISTEN TO FINAL FANTASY MUSIC GO DO IT
